The EuroDEMOS association is finalizing the project How to forestall the modern human traffic, a project financed with the support of the European Commission through the Youth in Action program.The project started on July 1, 2009 taking place over a period of 5 months within the European Network for Promoting the Involvement of Young People in the Decision-Making Coalition of the Youth Involved. The European project addressed the topics: human rights, what is modern human trafficking and methods of anticipating and combating this scourge of contemporary modern society, psychological and social consequences of modern human trafficking legal issues, alarm signals on agencies potentially involved or interested in human trafficking, quality standards of mannequin agencies.The EuroDEMOS Association discovered and unmasked the existence of the phenomenon of modern human trafficking that takes place under the public cover of mannequin agencies, mannequin schools, mannequin printers, etc. The EuroDEMOS Association studied and monitored the evolution of this phenomenon and found legal solutions to anticipate and fight against this scourge that is developing with the appearance modeling facade. Among the most important activities included in the project we mention:Organizing the European training How to forestall the modern human traffic between July 18-26, 2009. The participants in the training were 22 youth leaders from member countries and neighbors of the European Union. The countries represented were: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Turkey.The materials received by the training participants were translated into the 7 official languages of the promoters and English.Among the brand trainers present at the project we mention:

-Diana Alexandroae, President of the Kasta Morrely Association (member of the team for drafting the occupational standards of Mannequin and Event Organizer; co-author of the first specialized manuals for the qualification of Mannequin, Event Organizer and Master of Ceremonies, qualified by the state and in these 3 occupations).
Organizing seminars dealing with the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings by respecting the legal framework on August 27 and 31, 2009 in Botosani and Iasi. The organization of the seminar European Day for the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings took place on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the headquarters of the EuroDEMOS Association, where the Cross-Border Center for the Prevention of Modern Trafficking in Human Beings (AMT) operates. The project How to forestall the modern human traffic contributes to the implementation of the strategy of the Cross-border Center for the Prevention of Modern Trafficking in Human Beings Anti Modern Traffic (AMT).
