Dr. Morel Bolea - President of EuroDEMOS and Mrs. @Ana Cristina Zacornea - Executive President of EuroDEMOS participated in the opening of the Romania conference in the security system of Central and South-Eastern Europe. Objectives, Evolution, Challenges (1921-2022) The event was organized by the General Staff of Defense, through the “Ștefan cel Mare” Branch of Iași of the National Military Museum “King Ferdinand I”, the 15th Mechanized Brigade “Podu Înalt” and the Military Emergency Clinical Hospital “Dr. Iacob Czihac ”, in partnership with academic, administrative, cultural and religious, central and territorial institutions. The activity was attended by the Director of Defense Staff, Major General Corneliu Postu, academics, famous historians from the country and abroad, military attachés, unit commanders, representatives of local public authorities. On behalf of the 15th Mechanized Brigade, the deputy commander, Colonel Ionel-Lucian Sandu and the Chief of Staff, Colonel Ionel Munteanu were present at the event.During the conference, a series of scientific events take place, dedicated to significant events in the national history of Romania and to the cooperation relations with our NATO allies and the European Union, as well as with non-NATO states in the vicinity.An activity related to the conference was the unveiling of the bust of Dr. Iacob Czihac, Romanian doctor and naturalist of Czech origin, founder of the Emergency Military Clinical Hospital in Iasi, a building where the School of Sons of Soldiers, the first military education institution, high school, from the Romanian Army.
